WeekendBuild log
What's shipped in Weekend, newest first.
Weekend is on Google Play, in beta
Anyone can try it now: join the tester group, then install from Google Play. Android only for the moment.
Store screenshots, take two
The first set had captions on dark gradients and looked AI-made. The store now shows the app's real screens, unedited.
Counting what matters, and nothing else
The app now records how many places each video gives and how many get saved. No links, place names or anything you type.
Reels without reading your gallery
After you save a reel in Instagram, Weekend opens the photo picker so you choose it. It no longer asks to see all your videos.
Running on a real iPhone
The iOS version passed its first test on a phone: sign-in, trips syncing from Android, and sharing videos all work.
Instagram and TikTok links
Neither app lets others open a reel from its link, so Weekend sends you to save it first, then picks up the download.
A design worth opening on a Saturday
A new look with real photos of every place, and a dark mode in deep forest green.
First working version
Share a YouTube video, watch the places appear one by one, see them on a map, and save them into a trip.
